Cyber Education Consultants (CEC) was founded in 2007 by Lori Getz, M.A. (Educational Technologist). CEC speaks to students, parents, and educators about Internet safety, security and ethics. CEC has reached out to thousands of interested Internet users. Their mission is simple- to help bridge the gap between a young generation of digital natives and their parents and teachers.

Recently, the founder of CEC, Lori Getz, authored and developed Safety Kid on the Net, an elementary school curriculum publication (set to launch in September of 2009). She sits on the board for the Institute for Responsible Online and Cell Phone Communication and writes a column for momlogic.com as their Internet Safety Expert.

Lori is a mother, aunt and teacher. Much of her insight has come from her work with children, tweens and teens in both her personal and professional life. The development of Cyber Education Consultants and the Parent Resource Center was created to help keep parents one step ahead of their children when it comes to the Internet.
